MODERN JAZZ - WED// 10am

About Class

This modern dance class is a soulful amalgamation of dance techniques, rooted in the technique of legendary dance teacher, Luigi, and his predecessor, Tracey Durbin, as well as Horton, Graham, and ballet techniques with a focus on musicality and quality of movement. Dancers are encouraged to work at their own pace, to modify movement as they need to, and to experiment with what works best in their bodies. Come prepared to laugh, sweat and be in community with others seeking joy. Class is geared towards those with a year or more of movement experience, however, anyone with a love of music and movement, and a desire to be out of their comfort zone would be welcomed with open arms.
