Contemporary Movement Practices with Austin Tyson MONDAY // 10 - 11:30am OCTOBER 9 Austin Tyson is an Oregon native and former Jefferson Dancer. Professionally, Austin has performed with Gallim Dance, Sleep No More, and Micaela Taylor’s TL Collective among others. Austin is currently a freelance performer, choreographer, and educator as well as the Associate Director of BEMOVING, a queer led Los Angeles based nonprofit supporting the research, development, and dissemination of dance works and practices. A movement meditation to expand physical and creative potential with time to build strength, supportive alignment, and coordination. A small phrase of choreography to follow.
