Audition for 2026 Summer Space Camp I, Space Camp Pro and/or Open Space TOO, our year round training program for ages 18+!

 

Those that audition in-person will be the first to be considered for our INTENSIVES and SCHOLARSHIP opportunities.

Space Camp has LIMITED SPOTS to ensure the individual attention for each artists GROWTH.

Audition will include:

Ballet + Contemporary Class

Repertoire Workshop (Ages 18 and up Only)

Fee: $30

Spots Limited

Dress Code

  • No Black Soled Shoes

  • Athletic wear

  • Ballet Attire suggested for Ballet class

  • Socks strongly suggested

  • Ballet Slippers strongly suggested

  • Bring water!​

How to Register:

Fill out the form below to register for one of our auditions in Seattle, San Francisco and Portland! No materials required to bring in person. 

 

*If you are interested in Open Space TOO, please indicate that on your audition registration form.

*The Audition is intended for aspiring and pre-professional dancers ages 14 and up for Space Camp I or Ages 18 and up for PRO. Please note, Space camp I will be split into 2 groups based on a placement class that will take place on the first day. If you are 18+ you may Audition for both Space Camp I + Pro. 

SPACE CAMP 2026

AUDITION REGISTRATION

This form is required for all applicants auditioning in-person at the following Audition dates:

  • JAN 25 - Seattle, WA // W'Him W'Him Contemporary Dance Center

  • FEB 8 - San Francisco, CA // LINES Ballet Dance Center

  • MAR 14 - Portland, OR // Open Space Creative Container


In-person auditions are for the following 2026 Programming:

  • Space Camp I (Ages 14+) - One 3 week session

  • Space Camp PRO (Ages 18+) - Two separate Sessions, 6 days each

  • Open Space Too (Ages 18+) - 2026/2027 Year round Program


Please indicate which Space Camp(s) you are applying for. If accepted, your response is required by April 1 and a 50% deposit is due by April 31 to secure your spot. Final payments are due on May 31.

Please note, you can apply to take both weeks of Space Camp Pro! Find out more information about Open Space TOO and contact charlene@openspace.dance if you have any questions about the program.

If accepted, will you be needing housing?

Housing is only offered for Space Camp I (JUN 29 - JUL 17). For anyone who is under 18, they are required to have a meal plan and will also be provided with a chaperone. Meal includes daily breakfast and dinner.
