ABOUT OPEN SPACE TOO
We invite you to engage and contribute to a shared dance community and challenge yourself to grow as an artist and human!
Open Space Too is an intensive training program for dedicated dancers looking to push to their true potential. Utilizing Open Space’s mission where EVERY body is welcome, trainees are immersed in an environment where curiosity is encouraged and play is the way. Designed as a 2 year program, OSToo dancers train 30-35 hours/week, Mon-Fri. Trainees collaborate with Open Space’s co-founders, Portland choreographers, and International guest artists. Working along Open Space’s Company Artists 8-10 weeks/year, OSToo dancers have multiple performance opportunities, including Open Space’s annual NOT-Cracker at Portland’s Newmark Theatre.
